My mom had me try taking this herbal supplement that has St. John's wart/Dried Griffonia seed extract to try to combat my horrid PMS and it actually worked! This particular supplement is called "Luminex" and it's made by the Melaleuca company. I didn't get the crazies but the swollen painful boobies really did a number on me. Hey, I'll take what I can get.
I usually get psycho about 10 days before my period and it lasts about a week. This time, I did really well. I didn't feel like killing anyone or throwing anything. I got a little crabby here and there but nothing nearly as bad as it was.

Eh so maybe I gave the pills too much credit. I got angry and a mayo jar yesterday for no reason... so I guess I'm a little irritable. At least I don't feel like I can't function.
Period is late now. I'm on day 30 and trying not to freak out....

My body uses absolutely every reason available to be late, but getting on a plane always screws up my cycle. I don't know why, but it does. Maybe that's what's going on?

I'm usually never late. I have always been on time even when I get sick or travel. I realized yesterday that the one thing that does make me late is resuming exercise after a long period of absence. After I started taking those supplements I was running on the treadmill every day like super woman and I think my period is late because of that. It has happened to me before. I'm now on day 31. I broke down and took a pregnancy test and it was negative.

glad about that. pregnancy is not something you can deal with at the moment, what with George and surgery!

Well not to raise people's hairs but I don't even want kids. Getting pregnant would be a HUGE issue.

I wonder if PMS and the supplements I have available can help. Even without the mean uterus my body hates the ovulation process. I get the meanies and yep getting mad at a mayo jar can happen to me too even more so if my hsband is involved. I feel so bad for him poor guy he tries but that time of the month he is safer to just not talk.

HAHA poor hubby. When I got mad at the mayo jar, the first thing I did was turn to my husband and say, "I'm pretty sure I'm really hormonal right now so you've been warned." Needless to say, he left me alone.

I told you, if you want to ensure your period arrives, just take a pregnancy test the day before!

I told you, if you want to ensure your period arrives, just take a pregnancy test the day before! HAHA I thought of you when I started. I thought, "yep karen was right. Murphy's law." What's weird is even though it's late, it's probably the most pain-free period I've had in a really long time. I'm growing more and more convinced all that exercising did this.
