I know there was someone a while back that purchased a bunch of pregnancy tests on ebay for a steal. They are pretty bare bones but were accurate according to the user. Might be something worth looking into? And are you temping? Have you read TCOYF? Takes a lot of the guesswork out of it, too! Could be that you ovulated late, thus a later period.

I have a whole bunch of cheap pregnancy tests off the net too (or I used to before this week!). I was so convinced that I must be pregnant despite my negative readings that I went out and bought some expensive ones that are supposed to give you an earlier result. To my surprise they were also negative - LOL! Next time I'll wait longer to test!
Have tried temping but I didn't get a shift until after I was due. I have a very expensive themometre with digital readout so I think it is pretty acurate. I have read TCOYF, and I was sure that I ovulated later than normal, which makes sense that it would push my cycle longer, but I wanted to believe that I was late (my cycles are usually so predictable I am not used to erratic cycles).
Hopefully the next cycle will be more predictable.

Hi ladies! I'm sorry I have been MIA - I'm not a very good support group member I got my period too and not only was I REALLY depressed but I had the worst pain I've had since my IUD was removed. I have my HSG tomorrow and I am just anxious to move on. I can't take this every month. I swear this is one of the hardest thing I have ever done - the ups and downs are so draining. Karen, I'm sorry you had such a "close call". I'm so regular that I haven't had that much hope - it must be even more devastating. Do any of you watch Giuliana and Bill? So silly but I am really attached to her infertility story. I liked the episode when she ran the marathon to get a sense of control back in her life. I am trying to focus on controling what I can and letting go of "the rest". Stuff like that always work the week after my period. Its the weekend before I get it that I crawl under the covers for three days.

I haven't heard of 'Giuliana and Bill' (I'm in Australia), but I know the feeling of wanting to do something like run a marathon.
When I found out that I had to wait over a month for surgery and that we wouldn't be trying to get pregnant for a few months, I decided I would put all of my energy into getting fit and training for a week long walk somewhere (Inca trail, Tasmanian rainforest, Milford sound etc). I wanted it to be something that I looked back on in life and said 'there was a time that I was fit and healthy enough to do that'. It helped me to have something to look forward too to the point that I actually started hoping that we didn't get pregnant so I could do it.
But the endo pain got too much and the exercise regime went out the window. Now that I'm back exercising and feeling the healthiest I have in my entire life, I'm back on the pregnancy wagon, and the plans to do that walk have gone on hold.
But it did it's job of keeping my mind occupied while I had to deal with the pain and the wait for the diagnosis.
Oh, and during my period, I focus on chocolate! I ate 2 pieces of chocolate cake yesterday and then finished off my son's (it was for his 3rd birthday). I felt so ill by the end of the day that I have sworn to myself that I'm back on the wagon today!

Sometimes I hate having a body. I had a uti this fall after horribly painful ovulation. It's always something...lets hope 2011 is better...
So my test was good. I was so scared! My tubes are open but my uterus is a funny shape. I don't know what that means. My own doc might have more to tell me tomorrow when he looks at the pictures. It was painful but nowhere near what I have monthly with my cramps. I think it would have been worse if they were blocked but it was really tolerable. So, here I am on day 10 and though I am not testing ovulation this month, I am pretty sure I am ovulating so here's hoping girls!

I feel you! We are allowed to TTC starting in January. Last time I saw my tubes, before surgery, they were all twisty, so I almost want another HSG just to see if they'll even work... and it's December, running out of time here! Yikes. Anyway hoping you are successful, good luck!

Thank you for your concern...it really wasn't bad. It was painful but it wasn't nearly as bad as my cramps - nowhere near as bad! I didn't spot at all and I had sex the next morning - just in case because I have heard that some women get pregnant after having this test done. I am still waiting for official test results from my doctor - he'll tell me what my next move is. I hope he will just refer me to an RE. I don't want to waste time!
I'm glad you are feeling better and I hope it continues!

So... my period was due today and there's no sign of it.
Also, last month I had all my Endo symptoms back with a vengeance, 3 months after my lap. 4-5 days of pain leading up to my period, and then pain for another week afterwards. This month? Nothing.
And I've had other signs - I had an absolute crying meltdown over something really small - really not like me at all!. I've been craving salty food and chocolate is just not doing it for me - definitely not like me!!
I have probably just jinxed myself by writing this, but I'm starting to get just a little hopeful ;0)

KNH - I'm sorry! I'm in the same boat - every month I'm like hopefully this is the one! Ugh, so frustrating! Keep trying!
