Hello. My breasts went from a D to more than a DD when I started taking the pill. I also felt nauseous. I also had a weight gain. It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant, especially while on continuous b.c. pills if you started taking them correctly from the beginning and are still taking them correctly. However, if think you might be p.g., you can always test. Pregnancy tests measure hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. If you are not pregnant, you don't have a placenta, so you will not have hCG in your blood or urine. Therefore, being on the b.c. pill shouldn't affect pregnancy tests, other than to keep you from getting a positive by keeping you from getting pregnant. Your results on the pregnancy test should be reliable while on the pill.
If you are already on continuous birth control and have not had a period since January, you are already skipping your period. Actually, you don't have real periods when you are on the pill; they are withdrawl bleeds. However, if you were pregnant and quit taking the pill, you would not have a withdrawl bleed (sign of pregnancy). But since you have been on b.c. pills for so long there is no waiting for your period to be late. If you wanted to stop the pills now and take a week off, you could. My gyne. told me to take a break from the pill when I noticed breakthrough bleeding, not having to wait until it is time for another pack. As long as you skip what would have been your ovulation week, it is safe to have a withdrawal week. And since you have not had a period since January, I would say you are safely past ovulation.
