Hi guys, my name is Mallory, Im soon to be 29 and have just recently been diagnosed with stage 2 Endo. I'm pretty new to this disease/illness and I am already so confused. I have a family history of Endo in my family and being the only female who has not had children by age 26. My doctors just started me on the Lupron 11.25 injections. I just started them 5 days ago and have been in complete agony. My GYNO told me to expect some cramping, hot flashes, head aches and pretty much typical PMS symptoms. I had an MRi where they discovered endo and cysts. I have been struggling with heavy bleeding and unbearable cramps and nausea for the past few months. When I first saw my GYNO she said I just had very bad periods and put me on birth control and gave me Norco 10mg to combat the severe cramping. The painkillers have helped but come with nasty side effects. I recently started the Lupron injections and I have to admit that I am actually feeling WORSE! I'm suffering from the worst abdominal pain, and headaches I've ever experienced. I'm currently taking 3-4 of the Norcos everyday that barely curbs the pain and I can't even start on the headaches and nausea. Has anyone had this experience or tried another form of treatment that doesn't include narcotic painkillers? I've been so miserable and I am starting to regret my decision to start the Lupron. I really want to have them do a laproscopy or surgery to get rid of the endo and cysts and fibroids. I was also told by my GYNO that I have cervical dysplasia. I'm pretty freaked out and don't know what else to do so I can live a normal and productive life. Any advice or personal accounts of using Lupron or surgeries are greatly appreciated.
