Hello everyone! I was curious with the new laws that came into effect for 2013 and with birth control being free now, has anyone refilled their RX? I haven’t yet but didn’t know if anything will be different, or if you just call it in for a refill like normal? In the past, I’d have to wait until I had less than a week left of my BCP before insurance would allow a refill, I wonder now if that’s still the case?

My insurance had already started to apply this to their Tier 1 birth control pills this year. I was able to get Microgetin and Levora for $0. This is so great for those of us with Endo since many of us keep needing to try different pills. I've saved over $60 so far.

I don't think I can request my refill for another 2 weeks but I'm looking forward to saving some $$ as well. I’ve been lucky in the fact that I get 4 packs at 1 refill but it’s only $14 so it’s usually never been that expensive for me but I’m still looking forward to not having to pay.
