That's good that you don't have a deficiency. It makes you feel AWFUL. Even with my high doses I can only get my levels just above normal. How much D3 do you take daily Jenaya? What was your last level? Around 30ish? Now I take 2000IU daily pill (with Mg, vit A, zinc, and copper)which I'm not quite sure is enough. I had a suspicion that I had a vitamin D deficiency (thanks to Karen's suggestion) about a year ago and started taking 2000IU daily and it made me feel amazing but it still was low. I had my levels tested then and it was at 24 even after 2000IU daily. I was put on the 25,000IU weekly pill for a while and got it up to 32 and it stayed there. My current doctor put me back on the 2000IU pill again and tomorrow I'm having my level checked again.

I had my levels tested a month ago and it was 26. I am taking weekly megadoses of 50,000 iu for 3 months. It seems to be helping my back pain.

That's cool that it's helping your back pain, Kelly!
I have a weird change since starting the larger doses of Vit D - I have been able to recall my dreams almost every night. I hadn't been able to do that in a long time. I did give up eggs at about the same time but I would tend to think it's not the eggs affecting the dream recall.

I always hear that Vitamin D helps your immune system and now I'm totally a believer. I used to get 2-3 colds a year and ever since I got my deficiency treated I haven't had a cold since and it has been about a year and a half. It's so awesome not having colds anymore!!

I had my D3 checked in November and it was at 72. Finally! Now I will be dropping back down to more of a normal dose.
My dream recall has stayed. And generally, I just feel strong and healthy - different than before.

I wish I would have gotten a blood test 1 year ago to see where I was at. I can say since I have been taking the d3 I feel much better, more energy etc so I'm very sure I must have been low and over the past 9-12 months it's helped alot! Same for me! I just started taking D3 with probiotics & a multi-vitamin about a month ago & I feel AMAZING!!! I haven't been tested so I have no idea what my levels are, but all I know is I feel more like my old self (and had really forgotten how good this feels!) I take 2,000 IU's each day.

I also read one study which showed that if you are going to take the higher dosage of D3, you should also up your dose of K2. Anybody else doing this or know anything about it?
