It is actually a hysterical sentence. I am sorry for all the bowel pain and fear. I was best on the nuvaring, sex drive and mood wise. It is still not nearly as good as being off of it though.

So I haven't been on the boards much as it has been a bizarre week. Long story short, my period was late and it appears I am pregnant! It is so weird to say I'm not feeling excited yet but I think it's the stress of trying to wait until we can rule out an ectopic since that is a huge risk for me. I had a couple blood tests this week that showed hcg levels that are rising, but seem a little low to me (94 then 155) but I know the range is huge for 4-5 weeks. We aren't telling anyone so I'm glad I can at least post here!
The timing is so funny, since I has been taking a gluten-free holiday over the last month (including a beer and chili fest a few weeks ago, whoops). We had been talking about plans to start the adoption process in the next few months. Life is such an adventure!

Semi, sending you so many many hugs and thoughts. Just thinking about you so much.
Life is very strange. So often just giving up and having it happen helps. Keep yourself under close observation.
Hugs!!!

That's wonderful news? Did they also check progesterone levels? That is the most important one! How long do you have to wait for an ultrasound?

Thanks guys. I think I am just under/at five weeks. My cycle really threw Fertility Friend for a loop, it had several rises but I either ovulated on CD 14 or CD 18 (I never have that pattern, so weird). I keep temping, and my temps are still up there which is so interesting to see. So I have another blood test next thurs and a doc appt for the 15th (which I really hope is an ultrasound). If that is just a sit-and-chat with the doc I'm going to go ape! I want to be able to be excited but need some confirmation that everything is ok. Omak- I didn't even ask about the progesterone levels, I've been more on the hcg to see if things are progressing. I will check in on it next time I chat with the nurse.

I think as long as your temp stays high, your progesterone should be ok. Will keep fingers crossed for the 15th. Those days are going to feel so long until then!

^ ditto what Rust says. Progesterone is what makes your temp rise. It still wouldn't be a bad test to get, but temps will show you every day whereas a test will only show it on the days you test. Here's hoping you get an ultrasound!!!

Sorry it to be on the boards much, there has been a lot going in. I had another hcg in Thurs which was 500, rising but not quite doubling. Unfortunately I have been spotting since Tues and feel like that is getting worse. I feel like this is going south but am stuck in limbo-land. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Tues and the MD appt on Thurs, we'll see what happens until then. I think I'm starting to have some cramping too. I've been a bit sad, but my gut has really felt like this hasn't felt right from the start so I think I just want things over if that's the way it's going. The other news is that we signed on a new house! I'm so overwhelmed with everything going on at the same time, this is a whole new level of stress (not to mention work life). Thank goodness the holidays aren't nearing...oh, wait...

I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope things improve. I had a friend that spotted and cramped almost her entire pregnancy and ended up with a healthy kiddo despite, so don't give up hope just yet!
That's exciting about the house, though! When do you close?

I know a lot of ladies have spotting, I just don know if it's going to get worse. I haven't thrown in the towel yet but it doesn't make me very optimistic. :/
We don't have a date yet, but before the end of the year. I hope we can spend New Years there!

if you are spotting on a weekend go the ER, they can check you out, check baby out, and draw HCG levels. Don't wait, you don' t need to wait. I have been through this myself. I hope its going to be okay
