Ever have your vitamin D levels checked? Or even your parathyroid?

It is totally possible to suffer from cysts that are just functional if you have endo, because EVERY FEMALE gets functional cysts. It's part of your normal reproductive cycle. You're just having one's that stick around a while and cause pain, which doesn't happen to everyone. I get functional cysts that cause pain/ rupture AND endometriomas. (fun times!)
If you hadn't had a ct scan, i would definitely be skeptical of the nature of the cyst, but since it seems that you have, that should tell the doctors whether it's solid or functional for sure, so there shouldn't be a mistake there.
Pcos is definitely something to look into, though having lots of functional cysts doesn't mean you have this (I don't have it)
Also look into the food you eat. Coffee and dairy are definitely things to avoid if you suffer from functional cysts.

I am not sure. What is a parathyroid? I feel so dumb lol. Aw you're not dumb! Not a lot of people know what a parathyroid is. The parathyroid is located on both sides of your thyroid in your neck. They are tiny little organs/glands that secrete a hormone called parathyroid hormone which is responsible for regulating your calcium levels.

OMG! I have swollen glands in a few places on the right side of my neck! Had them for years and they happened after I had a tooth pulled!!! That was when I was 21. I have been wondering what in the hell has been making them stick around. It was a terrible extraction though so I am not sure.

They found a cyst but I cannot remember the type of cyst they said it was. And yeah I stay away from milk...it's SO nasty. Love coffee though lol. But normally only have one tiny cup a day.

Hmm, in that case i'd have another ct scan for the cysts! It will be able to tell the doctors if your cysts are solid or functional better than an ultra sound can i think.
Haha, yeah, i can't totally give up coffee either, but i've definitely noticed a correlation between drinking lots of coffee, and my own ovarian cysts. One little cup shouldn't hurt though.

My pelvis has a dull little ache. And my tummy around the belly button feels like a pulled muscle if I laugh and stuff. I know my Dr. said to not worry about cancer but I have beenvathrough so much with various Drs. that I can't help but be a bit frightened of that. My mom had an ovary that ruptured and my grandma died of ovarian cancer. I am a bit paranoid of cancer. It likes my family too much

Have you ever been tested for Celiac disease? I saw in another post you had issues with Gluten, might be worth looking into?

Have you ever been tested for Celiac disease? I saw in another post you had issues with Gluten, might be worth looking into? Well I was going to have a colonoscopy, but my PCP's exact words to that were : "I don't think they'll find anything." I said "Why?" She then said,"Why? Because I know you. You are just anxious that something is wrong." That comment hurt me, it seemed very degrading to me. So now I am a bit apprehensive to have it done. Plus I really DO NOT not a tube stuck up there considering all my rectal pain. I am afraid I will end up in worse pain after. Is there any other way to have gluten allergies tested? Blood tests perhaps?

i believe there is a bloodtest they can do. And there's the skin pick test, but not sure if that's just for wheat or includes gluten

OMG!!! Is there ANYTHING that DOESN'T happen to me??? While looking up Celibacy Disease I discovered that skin rashes are 'ommon. I get unexplained rashes on my skin. Two kinds that I have noticed so far. I get the kind if rash where it looks like the blood has risen to the cells, tiny flat patches of dots. This is generally not so itchy. The other kind of skin irritation I get looks like little tiny raised red dots that are extremely itchy. I had one that I thought was a pimple on the back of my neck not too long ago but it was?way too itchy to be a pimple. The other one was an itchy tiny dot on my leg with a bruise around it. I had a bigger one on my tummy on the summer. Calling the drs office to give a list of symptoms since the start of my period and will definitely throw this in and ask for a blood test. If I have been sick for all these years because of a FOOD ALLERGY than I am going to be RIPPED!!!! GRRRRRRR!!! lol ok I'm done

LOL I like how your phone auto corrected "Celiac disease" as "Celibacy disease" HAHA! Too funny!
There are blood tests you can get done to check for celiac disease. It's called a celiac panel. That's what I had done. They don't necessarily diagnose celiac disease through colonoscopy though. It's usually through an endoscopy and then they take a small bowel biopsy.
Can I just say how absolutely inappropriate your doctor is? Does she think you LIKE going to the doctor? UGH.
