This is really interesting, although I keep reading it as 'rolling on the floor laughing'. So, take Karen's first sentence and enter the above: 'I just back from a rolling on the floor laughing appointment. It's a form of massage or body work, I suppose, and it's focus is getting your body structurally aligned by working on the connective tissue/fascia in your body.' I think we should all give this a go

That's funny. I never would have associated ROTFL with rolfing. But you know, rolling on the floor laughing is a good therapy too! LOL As is laughing out loud. and smiling! Ok, enough of my jokes for the day!

All my friends think of rolling on the floor laughing when I mention it. They all think I'm crazy! And FYI - I'm TOTALLY looking forward to the session where they go up the nose and work on the jaw. That's actually what prompted me to go as I have all sorts of sinus/ear/jaw issues! Years ago I had some work on my jaw (inside my mouth) and felt fluid drain from my ears. It was awesome! I was actually hoping she'd do it sooner knowing my chronic issues, but so far, she's done minimal work in those areas. I can't wait!!! Your first time around - did you feel like you could feel your bones more often? I keep touching various areas and thinking how easily I can find bone now - before, it all felt like mush. Does that sound weird, or do you get what I mean?

the nose thing sounds gruesome but I would give anything to have it done as I have struggled for years with sinus issues. I remember I was 14 and had NEVER been to the doctor and came for sinus issues and was told it was "because I was depressed". We went to a chiropractor instead and was told I had terrible jaw TMJ and jaw issues which he helped with. I have several friends who had multiple ear infections and a chiro reached in through the jaw and were able to drain there ears. I think I saw a Rolfing ad at the local spa. I think I will look into it as my head is yet again killing me and I have been fighting a nasty sinus something or other.
