Hello... I might be asking an inappropriate question, but have any of you ladies used, ahem, a certain [glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300]green[/glow][/glow][/glow][/glow] herbal remedy for symptoms like pain, cramping, nausea, relaxation?? I personally am willing to admit that I have, and find it works rather well, although is not exactly umm, legal.

Hi there,
I haven't, but I believe Queen Victoria of Britain did!
Apparently, in some Australian states, if you have certain medical conditions you are permitted to grow this, er, "green" herbal medicine in your garden to use it as pain relief.
All the best.

Hahaha, its for medicinal purposes officer, really, lol Actually, i had some once in amsterdam, and found it worked as well as my tramadol, and it didnt otherwise effect me, just relaxed me and eased the pain. There needs to be more studies done into this, many have vouched that its a wonderful pain reliever. It could have a very important role in cancer pain just as one example. Although, it would significantly change the hospital environment, lol. Have an image of a bunch of people in hammocks and pjs smoking away in a hospital room, and JD from Scrubs smoking with them, lol. Yes i have too much time at home to watch tv. ;D

Do you think there is any way it could be sorta purified to protect against the psychological damage aspect?

^ Ahh... one of the downsides, psychosis. I've heard of the THC pill. (tetrahydrocannabinol) Perhaps less likely to cause anxiety, but how would you get a prescription!? I can only say from my own "experiences", that the paranoia and anxiety is dependant on what type/strain of "herb" you ingest. There isn't much concrete evidence to prove/disprove what its many healing properties are. Honestly, I can say it has really helped with my nausea, cramping, and lack of appetite/ fear of eating anything these days... I know promoting drug use is wrong, and I'm totally not aiming at that. In the city I'm from there's a real divide on how ppl feel. We had this Compassion Centre where paraphenalia was sold, but anyone suffering could fill their medical marijuana script and go there and be with others going through similar things. The owner got arrested and sent to jail, and I think it's too bad, there are far worse crimes being committed by worse people than those with cancer ect...

Ive got a friend that had psychosis induced from pot, and he believes the quality was part of the problem.
Ive never seen concrete evidence, but there is certainly beliefs that chemicals on it from production are part of the prob. So if you can get yourself some bush bud, theres prob a lesser chance, but i havent seen any research on that, its heresay.

LOL! This thread makes me think of one of a botany class where we had to do a leaf collection! One girl, no joke, mounted a marijuana leaf! I had it confused w/ a maple leaf, and apparently, so did she; however, the professor wasn't confused in the slightest! He questioned her on where she got the leaf. She said that her brother had given it to her, wanting to help w/ her project. Not sure where it went from there...

OK, I used the green remedy for 2 years. I can totally understand why someone would. It does help with the pain. But on the Flip side I think it makes things worse. I read a book called the Mood Cure by Julia Ross. It is great. She said, It is not the same stuff as back in the 1960's. It has been altered to become just as addictive as nicotine, full of pesticide's and chemicals, which depleat the brain chemistry, along with vitamins and minerals. I don't want the pesticide's to makes things worse by damaging my immune system. Think about it - the body looks at it as a foreign substance. Also it put's a big weight on the Liver - which is one of the most important organs. It has to filter out all those toxins. I also started thinking, if it is proven to alter a man's sperm, what does it do to a woman? It cannot be good for anybody's reproductive system. So I stopped using it. I went through 2 weeks of hell...withdrawls etc. But ever so slowly I felt better off from it. I'm seeing a NaturalPathic DR.. she is starting me on a liver cleanse soon. That is what I've gathered about the stuff. I just wonder what the original stuff was like? If it didn't have all that crap in it..maybe it's not bad..I don't know....there really isn't too much good info I can find on it, and how do you know what the truth is? I mean who do you believe...there are 2 extremes out there.
