Thanks Nicolle. sometimes there's no way to say what you mean, but with a poem of sorts. Regular sentences are so confining!

Ok let's hope this is my upward trend. Mom has cancelled her trip back east for a wedding being they type of mom who CAN"T stop worrying lol. I love her to bits and pieces. Auntie is going to let mom be mom and thus, all my worries about auntie are done. Now if Mom is there, we will be able to drive where we need to drive etc, I have way less worries. Was very close to just cancelling the whole thing but now (with my mom in charge of me) I can just go on planning this as a really awesome healing wonderful step in my life.

majorly Hells! my mom is my rock. I was pretty lost without her. now feeling much more myself, able to focus again at work, etc. Also W is much happier knowing I'll be watched over properly. Just all around feel way better if my Moms is there.... just knowing, she will make decisions for me and help me maintain good behavior under stress! Like having attitude insurance lol!

OK now I have all my ducks in a row: Fly into Tacoma August 3 at 11 pm. Found a shuttle to my hotel downtown tacoma for 26$ which is awesome... Check into Hotel. August 4 wake up and EAT since last chance lol. At noon, enterprise will pick me up for my rental car. Grocery shopping, drive around Tacoma, then over to Gig Harbor for 4 pm pre op appt, must remember to tell doc that my left knee has been hurting like mad, maybe it's endo? then to the pharmacy for the bowel prep. then to hotel (yuck) for all that jazz... August 5 my mom gets in at 6 am - go and fetch her bring her back to hotel. Then a minute to chill out, then be at hospital at 9:30 where they will no doubt want a bunch of money. Surgery is at 11:30. Hope to go home after to hotel with Mom, but being mom, she will hang in there with me either way. August 6 and 7 - lay around watching cable, eat pain pills, drink water, read magazines. August 8 - the big adventure is going to be moving from the Tacoma hotel into the Gig Harbor hotel. Turn in rental car, shuttle will pick us up, take to Gig Harbor. Aug 9-13 - lay around Gig Harbor hotel. no cable but they have wifi.... Aug 13 mom has to fly home....so mom take shuttle to airport. Aug 14 - lay around some more. Aug 15th - take taxi over to post op appt in Gig harbor. Get released back into the wild lol. Go back to hotel and rest up for traveling tomorrow! August 16th. Shuttle pick up at 8:30 am. Drop off airport at 9:15, they know I will want a wheelchair, this is the best part of travel after surgery is getting through security in record time lol. LOVE IT! Fly home and see my honey bunny xxxx So that's my plan! last thing to do is schedule the shuttle to take us from Tacoma to Gig Harbor... hmmmm time to get that done! I realize this must seem so wierd to new people who maybe don't know what a nut I am, that I live in Alaska, and my doctor is in Washington, or that I am super obsessive about details! anyhow, don't worry, this is just for me! Crazy, huh? lol

Not crazy. This is a lot to contend with so I TOTALLY get the need to plan it out and have a schedule! Well done!

This is great to finally have things together! Having a surgery does take a lot of planning and even more so if you live far away from the hospital. I'm so glad things are working out for you!

Oh my word! That is an amazingly intricate journey, it makes me thankful for living in this ridiculously small country! Here's me stressing that my lap might be at a hospital that's an hour from my home, and there's you travelling half way across the world. I always remember when I went to stay with family in Canada how people literally had to drive an hour to get a bottle of milk, and I thought that was bad, but oh my gosh, that is immense!
Will be thinking of you hon, and I love the intricate planning, I love a good plan!xxx
