Here's something I found when trying to look up my pain doctor's contact info, he's resident at the Walton Centre... this guy in the article was originally going to be my pain doc! I missed out huh, haha! Well anyway the article talks about a pain syndrome. It struck a chord with me in that people experience an injury and then develop this pain problem called CRPS, and even when it's so bad that they request amputation, the pain then can continue in the stump. It reminded me of women still experiencing pain after hysterectomy or salpingo-oopherectomy (removal of tube and ovary) www.thewaltoncentre.nhs.uk/News/New_discovery_in_treating_pain.aspWe all know how endo is so complex in itself, but I also wonder about the problems thrown up by surgery, we are warned about it sometimes doing more harm than good in causing scar tissue.
