LOL sorry I was so excited about the bike that I didn't ask you about your doctor! Have you ever been tested for factor V leiden? It's totally random but it it can cause miscarriages. It's a clotting issue that I have and now I wonder how many other people have it.

I am very happy to fix the bike. I have a whole shop set up in teh basement, as I am the neighborhood bicycle mechanic. But yes, if you get it to me, I can fix it. And if something isn't fixable immediately, I'm sure one of my fleet of bicycles will work for you temporarily. I have more bikes than I do shoes. It's a fetish.
I do not know what factor V leiden is, but I will ask when I get my other test results.

I have three bikes, two of them are super old but awesome bikes and the other is some Target brand that I want to get rid of. I should bring the nice old street bike in for you to look at!

Thanks you all. The Dr. thing went well. I liked her very much, and she was really gentle on the pelvic exam which is always a plus. Waiting for the bloodwork, but Karen you got it in one--she thinks I'm low on thyroid. She's also going to wait for this first round of blood tests to come back and see what's up, and then do more in depth "micronutrient" tests, but agreed there was no reason for a relatively healthy 29 year old (minus endo and asthma) to have regular problems carrying a healthy pregnancy to term. So maybe I have a misfunctioning thyroid gland. And Jenaya, if you ever want to get that bike back in business (I know you have way more on your mind right now), I can fix it for free at 146 U St NE! I'm so glad you went, and so glad you had a good experience with her! Thyroid may be part of the problem, but I hope she's going to dig a bit deeper with those high white cell counts, too! Fingers crossed you make some progress getting to the bottom of it all.

Thanks, Karen. I will!
And I love super old awesome bicycles. My most beloved bicycle is a 1960s low level french racing bike. I am delighted to fix your bikes, any time you can bring them over. Target bikes are less fun, but still fixable.
