I am watching it now and can't believe I forgot to start a thread about this. Ok I really wand James Franco to win even tho I have not seen 127 hrs yet but the story alone deserves a award. Social Network is a great pic and loved the book it is based off. It already won for that so I'm a happy girl now. I think Anne And James are pulling off a young Oscar night to they are keeping my attention and I'm laughing.
Seth has a Oscar I got him in Cali that says Best Lawyer on it he said he is taking it into to court in the morning first hearing and saying I would like to thank the Academy. Lmao I love The Oscars! My husband is funny he will prob do it to. He had me laughing so hard when he said he was going to do it. I want him to you tube it.
Enjoy the show girls we can post about it all tomorrow~

I didn't watch it all the way through because I get bored easily. I just love seeing what everyone is wearing. Anne and James were great together. They made me smile. So happy Natalie Portman won best actress. I just love her.

My top 10 things about the Oscars ;D 1. James Franco looked like he smoked a bowl of MJ before he hosted the show. 2. Sandra bullock was awesome! I wish she hosted it! So funny! 3. Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. were hilarious and they could have hosted it too! 3. Why the hell didn't Harry Potter win anything? 4. When James Franco came out in drag and said Charlie Sheen called. OMG FUNNY! 5. YAY natalie portman! 6. Favorite gowns, it's a toss up between what Jennifer Hudson was wearing and Scarlett Johansson. 7. Did anyone notice how much the Brits dominated the Oscars this year?? Sprinkle in a few Aussies too. What a refreshing change! 8. Anne Hathaway can sing!!! WOWzers! 9. Gweneth Paltrow...eh not so much. I wasn't a fan of her singing. 10. Hugh Jackman looked hot!
This is the first time ever that I've been able to stay awake for the entire Oscars so I'm excited because normally I don't care. LOL

I thought James Franco looked like a stoner too! He was like a deer in headlights half the time...totally cracked me up. Anne Hathaway did a fab job. What a voice she has!!! Had no idea. Was bummed Inception didn't take best film. LOVE that movie. Thrilled to death that Natalie Portman won. She's such a classic actress.

I was bummed that Inception didn't win best film too. It was so well done and one of the best movies I have seen in quite awhile. A lot of people were slamming on Scarlett's dress, but it was one of my favorites of the night as well. That's one of my favorite parts about the Oscars seeing what everyone is wearing.

Ok, so me and my bud Scott finally just sat and watched the show so I can finally check out this thread! Yes jenaya, I noticed how much the Brits dominated (well, we were well represented!) this year! I absolutely loved Inception when I saw it, but I finally saw The King's Speec last night and I have to say it was thoroughly deserved. I've never been that big into the monarchy but it did give me a sense of pride. Colin Firth was superb in it. Lol, no-one's mentioned the best picture winner yet! Gwyneth did look uncomfortable when she was singing but she was fab in Glee when she was actually acting/singing. And yeah we all love Sandra! Haven't seen Black Swan yet but I love Nathalie and her dress was beautiful and so classic and forgiving for a pregnant lady. I wish Inception had won more (although I'm happy with the best film win, can you tell?) cos it is an awesome movie.

I only caught a little bit of the Oscars, but I have read about it in the papers quite a bit.. I loved Scarlett's dress, I love her, she is sooo beuatiful. and I love Natalie Portman as well, so I was happy she won Best Actress. I was disappointed that Canadians lost out majorly.. but eh... small population. And I didn't hear Anne Hathaway sing but I DID hear Gwyneth and I somewht wish I hadn't. Not that I think I could do better, but it was a little awkward to watch!

HAHA yeah Gweynth wasn't all that great in my opinion. I was happy for our friends on the other side of the Atlantic! You guys won like half of the awards! Believe it or not, I have not seen the King's Speech yet but I'm dying to! I'm still kinda wondering why Harry Potter didn't win anything
