Oh I made 2 of those paper flowers, the ones where you pull the tissue paper apart (it works best with paper napkins if anyone wants to make some) and then tied them together to make a ball, as Lily cat loves tissue paper. Well she had a laugh-riot the living room floor looks like there's been a murder there is red tissue paper everywhere! So much fun to watch. I cannot make some gold and silver ones for the Christmas tree as planned, she already spends the first 2 days of Christmas chewing the bottom branches (she does it very gentle-like, I think she just likes the texture in her mouth ) and loving up to the Christmas lights. Strange kitty.

Um, Cherry, I think your cat and my cat are siblings. Baxter LOVES to chew the fake tree I put up every year, and she has an obsession with tissue paper, specifically licking it. It has the same effect as cat nip. Sounds like you had quite the scene! I don't make furniture, but I buy it used at garage sales or resale shops and refinish it. I don't think I've ever paid more than $50 for a piece, and my house is filled with them. My fav is a radio cabinet turned file cabinet. Paid $10 for it, no radio in it, but the top flipped up. I put in a cheap metal frame for files and voila - filing cabinet. You'd never know! I also redid all my chairs and dining table. But I digress... Back to things we've MADE! Attachments:

Lovely! Would you do that and resell them? I think you're onto something! I'm going to buy some thin card and make some curly paper roses. If I can get it right I'm going to make a wall decoration for the little sis. She hasn't asked but she has been meaning to redecorate her room for ages, dark red and burnt orange and violet but she never gets around to it. I'd like to have a home of conventional stuff, but also stuff that I've made or modified myself so it's original and just right. Natalie will eventually go into carpentry... free furniture haha! I've been on at her to make a miniature screen for the cat litter trays. There's a dress making course I'd like to take when it starts again, always wanted to make my own dresses, modify things to my shape seeing as I'm such a pear and try my hand at designing something a bit different. Cats are strnage things, Luther just is about people (he licks my arms when he sits on the seat behind me) but Lily experiments with textures, never imagined she would be such a character. She retches when you shake certain bells though? Had to get rid of all the jingly toys. Oh that reminds me, I woke up to Luther staring at me the other morning and I went to speak, he damn well dribbled in my mouth I was almost sick!

I'd buy that from you Karen!! That is a great filing cabinet considering filing cabinets are usually so ugly!!!
