1. The illness I live with is: Endometriosis
2. I was diagnosed with it in the year: 2009
3. But I had symptoms since: 2002
4. The biggest adjustment I’ve had to make is: being unreliable
5. Most people assume: I don’t live with daily pain
6. The hardest part about mornings are: no caffeine
7. My favorite medical TV show is: Grey’s Anatomy
8. A gadget I couldn’t live without is: Cell phone
9. The hardest part about nights are: my hubby working out of state and not being there with me
10. Each day I take __ pills & vitamins. (No comments, please): 10
11. Regarding alternative treatments I: LOVE chiropractic and the help it’s given my endometriosis
12. If I had to choose between an invisible illness or visible I would choose: invisible
13. Regarding working and career: I’m unreliable due to endo and have lost two wonderful jobs
14. People would be surprised to know: I have daily pain
15. The hardest thing to accept about my new reality has been: possibility of not conceiving =(
16. Something I never thought I could do with my illness that I did was: treat it naturally with diet
17. The commercials about my illness: are non-existent
18. Something I really miss doing since I was diagnosed is: believing I will some day be free of pain
19. It was really hard to have to give up: caffeine and CHEESE!
20. A new hobby I have taken up since my diagnosis is: knitting, crocheting
21. If I could have one day of feeling normal again I would: have lots of unpainful sex! Lol.
22. My illness has taught me: that I’m one tough cookie
23. Want to know a secret? One thing people say that gets under my skin is: it’ll happen, in regards to conceiving
24. But I love it when people: listen and understand what I’m going through
25. My favorite motto, scripture, quote that gets me through tough times is: can’t think of one
26. When someone is diagnosed I’d like to tell them: I’m here to talk if they need
27. Something that has surprised me about living with an illness is: when my husband said he’d be with me “in sickness and in health”, he wasn’t kidding! He’s my biggest supporter.
28. The nicest thing someone did for me when I wasn’t feeling well was: Bring me balloons! I Love balloons
29. I’m involved with Invisible Illness Week because: I am touched by endometriosis daily
