I was so sick today and bloated I did not end up going shopping. The pain is horrible I really think something wants to explode inside me. I am masking the pain with over the counter meds trying to hold off on going into the doc.

Oh, hun, maybe you should go to the doc sooner rather than later? That doesn't sound good! I hope you get some relief soon. Big hugs!

I know I am just to busy this weekend to deal with it. I am at work now then services for Yom Kippur and a dinner after. I should listen to my body but I am so sick of going to the doctor and hospital that if I can manage it I am going to do that until it gets really bad. Last night I was 9 months pregnant again. NO IDEA what the heck is going on I am being good with my diet and everything. When I woke up today it went down a little. The gas was so bad last night. As long as I am passing gas I am going to take that as a good thing? The gurgling was so loud that I have had to walk away from the desk today at work so patrons do not hear it!

Aww I'm sorry Keri, just be careful with that pain and swelling. I'm sure you know when it's time to go to the hospital.

I made it thru work and dinner. I realized tho that bc of my diet I can not enjoy the jewish cuisine like I had before. Oh boy the food is so out of my reach I looked at everything and had to pass it all up this year. My favorite jewish holiday is Yom Kippur the dishes people bring are amazing I think I prob gained 10 pounds each year around high holidays. LOL so tonight I passed up the hamantashens, the kugel and my favorite challah bread. I had a small plate of GOOD food verses the big plate of BAD food. Happy New Year! A new start and my bloating has went down:) YEAH!

Boo for having to pass up good foods, but yay for you for sticking to it!
I learned my lesson last year - I let it all go for Thanksgiving and Christmas and paid for it for 2 months... Never again!
Glad the bloat has gone down, here's hoping it stays down!

I just keep reading this and I wonder if its a cyst. You left your ovaries in... That would really, really suck. I hope you can still have a wonderful time in NY inspite of it.

Well... just watch out for fever! If its appendix it should be accompianed by a fever. You get feverish please get your self to the doctor. Visit or no visit!
taken from WEBMD:
The pain eventually settles in the lower part of your abdomen, not far from where your appendix actually is. The point is found midway from your navel to your upper right pelvic bone. The point is commonly known as the McBurney point. Pain that is found in this location is a leading sign that you are suffering from appendicitis.

Oh I think I would know if it was my appendix. I do not recomend anyone ever waiting I just have been thru so much I know when it is time to go and when I can put it off. If I was running a fever I would be in the hospital. I have been looking forward to this trip and meeting Cass so I want to be happy and have fun while there. I did not want to go into the doc and find out something else is wrong. That can wait. It could be a cyst or my endo could be so agressive now on my bowels that this is just how life will be for me. Either way I will deal with it I promise and I am not thinking lightly of it I should not of put LOL at the end of my last post. I know it a problem and I will take care of it after I have a great weekend.

You don't always need a fever with appendix issues. My appendix was adhered and I could feel it flaring up, though I didn't know what it was at the time, but never once did I have a fever. It wasn't a typical appendix issue, but endo can still affect it.
If you can make it until Monday, Keri, great, but I know you'll go in sooner if you absolutely need to!
