Clarins Clarins Clarins. They do one called 'Delicious' that smells fruity and chocolatey and they've just brought out a new mousse that's super moisturising and also smells good enough to eat. Pricey, but I'm worth it! :-) They also do them for the face, and they were the fist company to bring out moisturisers with a hint of self tan. Some of my friends swear by Fakebake and St Tropez.

THAT YOU FOR POSTING THIS!! I'm getting married next may, and in WI in May, you look pretty pale. I have tons of freckles and tanning beds make them all pop out, So I have been thinking about fake tanners. I've got some lotion with "a hint of color" that slowly adds some color everytime you use it. I tend to get lots of streaks. Tell me more about these towels. do you use them all over your body (face too), Does it ever run if your sweating? I had a friend who got a spray tan and the first time she sweat, it ran and looked terrible. Not to mention, it was a few days before her wedding and she also had self tanner tansfer onto her wedding dress.

You need to make sure you get a developing tanner, not an instant one. There are gazillions of them on the market, start trying some now and find one you like, then perfect your technique! Exfoliate before and afte, and keep applying over a few days.

i'm so scared of streaks, or missing a spot. I know my fiance won't help me so I won't miss a spot. I heard those wipes work really well.

I have friends who swear by fake bake, st tropez and xen tan. Also sublime bronze. Liverpool is a hotbed of tanning culture, some people are orange and somehow get on TV to misrepresent the city I went on a tanning bed yesterday to even my tan out (I lost my holiday tan and went a strange shade) and burnt. Burnt my boobies, and getting in the bath hurt. Will be fake tanning if I ever need to tan again.

My parents owned a tanning salon when I was a teenager, so I'm no stranger to that, and i'm no stranger to the correct way to tan so you don't burn everything (trust me, i've been burnt sensative areas too). I'd rather do self tanning at home than paying so much for tanning. But...i'm too scared

The Tan Towels can be used on the face and body. Its so easy my 10 year old son could do it. Its like using a wet nap lol! Before you use anything exfoliate and moisturize. I was nervous too but I think this a great product.

exfoliate and moisturize first. how long after your moisturize should you do it? Do you do it everywhere? Am I going to get extra stuck in areas like my butt-fat creases by my legs? I assume if I do my face, I need to do my ears and stuff too huh?

I don't know if this is different for everyone, but notice how the ad's on the bottom of this is all about tanning products?

Yep there have been some really funny posts about those ads, we have a thread on it somewhere. I have tan skin as I'm mixed race, but underestimated the hotness of those tubes and the last time I went on for a 'top-up' was 3 years ago. My breasts, decolletage and belly are itchy and red. I also burned my ears. Duh. And here's me always dictating that dark skinned people aren't immune to the sun because of their skin colour! Otherwise my legs and arms are a nice shade!

I found that those self tanners work best on people who already have an olive type skin tone. People who are fair have a harder time. I used that jergens stuff and it used to look really good as long as I didn't over do it. Its one of those slow developers. The only thingI hated was that it would get all weird in the fold of my arm (elbow) and anywhere I sweated. I wanna try these wipe things you guys talk about!

lizzylou exfloliate right before you do it. I take a shower shave exfloiate and then do the tan towel. I mosterize after. Yes do the ears lol and everything. I am really anal about getting every spot. I have never had it run when I sweat that would be pointless. My husband keeps asking me what is taking me so long in the bathroom. LOL Im like honey I rubbling my tan on!
