October 20th 11 years ago I gave birth to my son Jacob. If it was not for him some days I would give up. I spent last night in the ER and today am in horrible pain but regardless of this I will do my traditions with my son. We carve pumpkins on his birthday and later in the week we will have a birthday party for him. My husband is exhausted and we both feel lost in what to do next with my health. Jacob makes our life worth something tho. He can make us smile even when we are down. Today we will celebrate~

Kids are a great reason to keep going even when it seems impossible! They give me a reason to get up in the morning.

Life is full of change and since being diaganosed with endometriosis my life is one change after another. My body decided to do a huge CHANGE the past few weeks thanks to endo. I have been a little depressed about the bloating and feeling like I would not be able to enjoy Halloween with my friends. I worked with what I had and figured out who cares if I cant wear the revealing Ring Leader costume so I ran out today last minute had a hr to get it all and picked out my kitty costume. I enjoyed the night with friends at a art gallery every year they do a awesome party. I could only go for a hr but I got to do it. I work all day tomorrow at the libray and will dress up there too. It may not be the way I would of celebrated Halloween before endo but a little change is good. I can work with what I have now~

I have to have something to look forward to. My inlaws did a cruise last year and loved it. I want a locals view of what to do. I do not like to be a tourist and most of the time I stay far away from all that if I can.

This is last years Santa Cause event even my husband Santa in the pic (and Jewish) participates. Its so much fun dressing up giving to a cause that some of the children do not even have shoes. Yes I know it is America but it happens an breakes my heart when I hear the stories. I have really been blessed and look at my life as a good one regardless of all the issues I have. It is not about the material possesions but the love my family has and the ability to function day to day without living on the streets. To be part of something that gives children a chance to feel normal means more to me than any christmas present I could get. They have been neglected, starved, abused. A pair of shoes or a board game to them is like winning the lottery. It puts life in perspective for me.
