It's funny, but this process is actually how we "make" a lot of our spices and how we make my pepper pills. Grow peppers, dehydrate, grind up = pepper pill!

Somehow I missed this post... Yeah, I think SP thinks that working with the natural food is best. They take it a few steps further by farming on certified organic lands and combining the best nutrients from the best foods. Some of the supplements I'm on have 10+ food sources in them. I really forgot how much I loved being on SP supplements - big difference in how I feel! They have a line for animals, too, and just ordered some online for my cat. She's had kidney problems for years and I went to a few vets. One tried a whole bunch of things without any luck and told me her kidneys were so messed up that even if it were her own pet, she wouldn't operate. I'm not expecting a miracle, but if I can get her feeling a bit better and putting on some weight, I'm sure she'd adore me even more!

Karen, for your cat, what are you feeding her? Have you tried or considered a raw diet? It isn't an end-all be-all, but I've heard lots of success stories from it. I've switched one cat to raw, will switch the other once his canned food is used up, and am looking up raw food for the dog today.

Just got 'em today, we'll see if she takes them or not...
As for me, the SP supplements ARE making a difference. Things are subtly changing...

I am starting back on SP I had given up for a little but I do not want to get in the same position I was with food & end up on a tpn line. My weight I do not even discuss anymore but I do know these supplements can help me not cure me but atleast save me from carrying a back pack around. I had stopped taking them bc I was so frustrated with the doc office I had got them from. The entire bogus expensive tests made me mad so not going back there. Any idea Karen that you know of a cheap place for SP? I would rather order online than bother with another doc. How are you doing with your supplements Karen? Are they helping?

I wonder if this is the same brand that makes pet supplements as well? I use the renal support for my cat and it’s helped her a lot!

SP are typically only sold through practitioners. You may be able to find a local acupuncturist or chiropractor that sells them. If you go to their website, you can locate a provider in your area. I stopped seeing the acupuncturist that sold them to me so I stopped the supplements as well. I would encourage you to find a practitioner as they'll help you find the exact products you need. There are so many options, but some can conflict with eachother.

I still have some & would go with the same list. The chiropracter I was seeing however was misleading. I will check out the site to see if I can find someone else.

My office is on a wellness kick and has been bringing in speakers. Today's was a nutritionist talking about supplements. I didn't learn anything new, but she mentioned SP as one of the highest quality supplement lines. I was sold on them, but it was nice to hear another professional confirm! (She also mentioned MY doctor as an expert in identifying and treating nutritional deficiencies!)

Hi Karen
I was wondering if your nutritionist is part of a network meaning does she know anyone in her network that is in the chicagoland area that I could try to search? Thanks!

Didn't see that. There's a link a few posts above to find someone that uses SP. I've seen several practitioners that use them - chiropractor, acupuncturist, doctor, etc.
