Aww sweetie, so sorry you're still not getting any answers. But don't give up, see if there are any other docs around you could talk to. How's your diet?

well, my diet is actually pretty healthy, I have been thinking about trying to eliminate gluten for a while though to see if that helps. I have tested negative for both crohns and celiac, but you never know I guess. Aside from having good eating habits, I simply don't have an appetite for anything really. I find myself forcing myself to eat practically every meal most days. My doctor doesn't seem to think anything is wrong with this though, because I don't have an eating disorder, in the classical sense. Even physical activity and strenuous workouts haven't been making me feel hungry either - which is usually my fallback to get an appetite going. I just don't want anything though. Occasionally I find myself snacking on things, but it doesn't last too long before I want to push the food away.

Have you gone to see a naturopath at all? Have you considered it? They're trained more to look at the entire body and can pick out seemingly little things that can have a big impact on the body. You deserve to get to the bottom of everything!

A naturopath has been something I've been interested in exploring for a while, but it hasn't really been an option for me financially. I am beginning to think though that if I can save my pennies, it would be worth every one of them.

I felt the same way about the finances. But in the end, it was SO worth it to get much more quality of life back. Seriously, I'd rather spend $ on appointments and supplements than doctor visits, prescriptions, and time off work and spent at home when I could be doing something fun. Before seeing him, I was functioning at about 20%... After some supplements and diet changes he suggested, I can easily say on most days I'm between 90-95%. Well worth being strapped for cash for a bit!

wow, that's a huge improvement. yeah... that does sound worth it. I should look into finding someone good around here. For me its actually cheaper to go to the doctor though, as it is covered under my health care, but a naturopath wouldn't be covered (you'd think the government would want to cover natural routes too, as in the long run it is probably far less a drain on the system) I will have to wait a few months before I will be able to do it, but I think that it will probably be a good idea to go see one. Its not like I can get any fewer answers then I already have!

No disrespect to the naturopath, and I whole-heartedly agree that it's worth doing, but in the meantime, a simple visit to a pharmacy may help without being too expensive. B Complex vitamins and magnesium/calcium supplements have been great for me!

I've actually already been taking those vitamins, plus a few others. I find that they only really help me feel a bit stronger when I take them consistently, but they don't really help me feel better. All my symptoms feel pretty constant. I am thinking its probably one thing that is extremely simple that is going on, but because it is so simple neither me nor any of my doctors have found it. Either that, or I am grasping at straws like there is no tomorrow

Have you considered pelvic PT? If it's something health care might cover, it might be worth a try! I'm amazed at how some really weird pain just melts away that I never thought would!!

What exactly is involved in pelvic PT? I've only ever heard of it from this site. But its actually not even the pelvic pain that is my biggest problem lately. Although when I have it, I certainly wish I didn't. Its the nausea that has been causing me the most problems. mainly because its more of a daily interference, and it can often get very intense. It also disrupts my eating habits quite a lot, which affects my weight. The benefit of being on the Provera, is my bleeding has decreased considerably, and with it the pain, AND my nausea has also improved on a severity basis, but its still there. I am really aiming to figure out what is causing the nausea, because I think what ever it is will be my link to everything else going on with me.

So I'm pretty fed up about right now. 6 days of straight pain, missing work, and barely eating. I know I am lucky I don't have this kind of pain on a daily basis, but 6 days in a row is a dose that is good enough to last me an eternity. Every single test result has come back super normal, and my pain seems to be increasing in severity, and length. My GYN said if I continue to get worse, or can no longer cope, she can cut me open again in 2 years to see if things have changed. Otherwise, try to manage the best I can for now, because she simply doesn't know. I sincerely hope my naturopath can do more for me.

oh gosh, I've been tested for loads. Hmm, offhand I know I've been tested for H-pylori, crohn's , celiac, lupus, RA, Endo. I've have had endoscopy (years ago), a whole load of gastro testing, and regular CBC check ups, as well as vitamin levels. I know I've had a few other things done too, but I don't have my records handy. I will have to check when I can get to them, in a few weeks. Everythign has always come back normal, or pretty close to it.
