Yep, now and again I do indeed get that sensation. Maybe down to changes in blood sugar levels.

What kind of shoes were you wearing? If you were wearing some sort of heel or something without some support, I'd use that as your excuse instead of the out-of-shape thing. It always makes me feel better when I've woken up all stiff after walking a few mere blocks.

Helen how long did you wait for your referral? I'm still waiting for mine, I'm sure it's gone down the 'imaginary' route like my ADHD assessment! I'm due at Muay Thai with my sister this evening, no contact but a strunuous work-out. I'm looking forward to the workout and hoping that my pain doesn't kick in. Kitty have you had your iron levels checked? Your description there rings bells for me, I used to get like that when I had very heavy long cycles. Helen's also hit the nail on the head there, it could be either or both. I feel the need to drop sometimes but thankfully not the nausea.

Cherry, I got referred last November by Ortho doc - took until March to get first appt but it was fairly short notice and I had to postpone, then got one for last week. So probably a good 4 months to even get to first appt.

Good luck, get your full health check. Over a year without medical help when you have endo must have been tough. Helen my doc has just re-referred me for pain management. He's sending me on the course because I'm terrified of what pre-gabalin will do... oh this is a new doctor. How many doctors are at my surgery! When I moved there 15 years ago there was just 1 GP who was adequate, now we have 4! I didn't go to muay thai as I was cramping like crazy and bleeding after the mirena removal, then I had to deal with pain from the speculum which always kills me. Anyhoo, joining the gym this weekend, one away from my ex and his friends. I seriously can't wait to be active again. My body misses it. These pains on my left can suck it. (I say this now, bravery in ignorance )

That random exhaustion thing - it comes and goes, but usually comesandcomesandcomes, for about 2 weeks before that b*tch Mother Nature shows up in town. I effing hate it.

I think one of us should start a topic for the random and sudden feeling of exhaustion, either just to have a rant here or maybe in the connected problems board? I have no doubt that's an endo-general thing. There are so many ways that this disease can eff you up, I'm always amazed that doctors don't know more about it!

I know, I know, not only am I amazed more docs don't know about it, but those that know about it don't seem to care! I have to head out in a second, but I like Cherry's thought to start a new thread. Someone want to get 'er started?

I did too much and now I broke it!
We just got a house a few months ago and weekends are spent doing lots of projects. I'll be gone starting next weekend for business, so I wanted to bust my butt this weekend getting two weekends worth of stuff done. Although I think I busted something else! I got one closet completely organzied, my bedroom re-arranged, hosted our first annual memorial day bonfire, AND we put in our garden (cut sod, tilled, raked, planted, fenced). Not only did we do all this work, we also did it in the hot sun. I'm stiff, sore, burnt, blistered and now my abdoman hurts. Pretty soon I'm running to the store to get some more plants and groceries with my son. Then I've got to fold all the laundry I've been washing all day!
UGH... Can't wait to go back to work so I can realx.

I'm SOOOO tired! My fiance and I are just sitting around and watching tv. I bought some really yummy dessert at the store, so I'm going to sit back and relax, maybe I'll cuddle up with my heating pad too.

In a weird way, this thread sort of made me feel better. Sometimes I have a really hard time being able to get up and do simple things, like clean the house or run errands, and it's made me feel pretty down about myself. Now that I know that other women who suffer from this disease also suffer from fatigue, I don't feel so alone.
