So this is 6 weeks post op. The bottom part was where it was cut open to drain. It kinda looks like I grew another clitoris. HAHA! It's still filled with fluid but at least the golf ball-sized seroma is gone. Attachments:

Wow, that looks really good for being so soon after surgery!

It does look good. It actually looks a lot like mine! I should post up a progress pic of mine.

So yours is all puffy like that too? I hope it goes down! I don't like how it puffs out like a worm.

Yes! Like a worm! It's horrible. I'd hoped it would fade a bit more before now. I go on holiday in around 5 weeks.

You guys have zippers! I'm kinda jealous, I only have three little buttons. Whoever had that keloid, try crushing an advil up in lotion and putting it on once a day. Keloids are somewhat common with certain piercings, and I got one on my last piercing. After reading about them on the Mayo Clinic website (and how doctors can't do much), I asked my piercer what to do. He suggested the crushed up Advil. I think I did it for 2-3 weeks, worked like a charm.
Sam just left for Louisiana today, but when he gets back we will do some tummy modeling. And then of course, after my hyster in October. Mine never looked that bad though, I had bruising (yellow) and that's about it.

COOL! We like scars. lol
Hey Gaia, that crushed Advil thing makes total sense because the cream I was given to prevent a keloid is an antinflammatory just like Advil is.
Along with my zipper, if you look a little closer you'll see my itty bitty lap scars in the lower corners of my abdomen.

Hey Helen, I have been putting vitamin A & D oil on my scar and that worm thing has almost disappeared in just a week! I had some of that oil laying around and figured I would try it since I haven't gone to the store and got the other stuff like vitamin E, mederma, or bio oil. It's working really well! I thought that worm thing would take months to disappear.

Where'd you get the oil?

You can get A & D ointment from the baby aisle in the grocery store or pharmacy. It was recommended to me for new tattoos as well.

Oh like Bepanthen type stuff. Yeah. Got some. Wanted zinc and castor oil cream but it's so hard to get hold of these days!

I am using oil instead of ointment. I got the oil at a beauty supply store.

Well I lied. We tried taking pics but my scars are so faded (3.5 years post op) that you can't see anything. In October though, we will try it again.
