LMAO!!!!
Also, I've read that extra-virgin olive oil is good for vaginal atrophy. Actually, that's when I started getting in to the whole olive oil for everything kick. Just ask some of the oldies on here. I was pretty much the Big Fat Greek Wedding Windex girl of olive oil. LOL! "Put some olive oil on it!"

We use olive oil when we run out of our good stuff. I also used it before the babies to help stretch the tissue before birth. Helps keep the skin supple and tear free! I can't use any of these suggestions yet though. I have to wait two more weeks before anything can go in there. boo hoo

so tonight is my last antibiotic... I don't think its done anything for me. I sure wish I knew which lab result was right. Its reminding me off last winter when the doctor in omak thought I had a dermoid cyst and the doctor in wenatchee didn't see anything. I don't know which lab to belive since the antibiotics didn't help. Oh and my Kidneya are killing me!! OUCH! I'm stuck in the middle of two doctors and i have to figure out if this is worth pursuing or I just have to live with this much pain. So not happy'!

yeah, on both sides and Its not muscle! My belly is swollen which is typical for the hyster but its swollen way up under my chest which isn't normal. so I don't know what is going on? what I suspect is that I'm one of those that has endo higher up in the chest cavity. Lucky me...

Hi, I read your post and wanted to say that I can relate to where you are at. I too have had a total hysterectomy and still have endo and PAIN!!! I would love to chat with you and maybe learn from each other. If nothing else it's nice to have someone be able to understand what you're going through.
Thanks

Endomommy - omaklackey is no longer an active member - but there are a few other active girls that just recently went through a hyster that you might be able to connect with.

so i'm back... greatful you gals gave me another chance. The pain that I had in my upper belly was a LARGE gall stone. 1 1/2 inches or how ever many cm's. So six weeks after my hyster surgery I had another one. In January I had a follow up apt. 1 month after the gallbladder surgery and found out I have severe ulcers in my esophogus, stomach and duodonum. I am no longer allowed to have any Ibuprofen, Aleve, or any other anti inflammatory meds, which is all I was taking because of the Problems with the NARCS. So no pain meds at all and its proving to be better anyways. I have failed prilosec, and Prevacid. I have a follow up to try Nexium. The doctor suspects I have the more rare upper abdominal Endometriosis and offered a Laparatomy but I have decided to just deal with it. The bladder is better then it was but I still have to know where all the bathrooms are within a 10 min. radius. The bowels/stomach is fun and quite painful on a regular basis but they did a colonoscopy and no blockage. There does seem to be some Malabsorbption problems which they ran a test for, which is causing achy joints, and diarheea issues, and showed low vit. D. Fun times!! The endo is only in the muscle of the outside of the bowel but it causes plenty of pain. I'm doing good most days though, I keep busy and it keeps my mind focused on something besides "I hurt". Menopause is a joy... bad sex a lot of days and really good others, just never know? I love not taking the HRTs though, I don't have the excuse of blamming my bad behavior on PMS. I have to accept the ugly parts of me as me and change them, which is a challange I'm willing to accept as most days I don't like me at all. I get the hot flashes the most when I get nervous and late at night and drink a LOT of ice water to keep me hydrated. Its the best cure for the intense flashes and cools me off from the inside out. If there are others who are post surgical menopause looking to chat?? I would love to. I'm one month away from my hysterversary!!

some days... ugh! So the more I do the worse I hurt but the better I feel about my life? Its an odd sort of thing. Right now my back hurts so bad (where I feel the endo the worse) and I would love a soak in our new jacuzzi tub except I don't want to share it with the HOBO spiders that are currently invading our house. I wish I had remembered to buy wine since a glass a day does seem to make me feel better, or just not care. LOL I think its beer:30 right now!

Doctors apt. today! I'm sure she is going to bug me about the Gastroenterologist apt. I had to cancel. Miscommunication once again! They scheduled me an apt. with someone without asking me first. We had a plan to go to someone who had been recommended but he went into private practice. ugh! So they were supposed to call back and that's a month and a half ago instead they made an apt. for me with someone else that i didn't know, so I cancelled it. My hubbies paycut has made things really tight and I have to judge my health level as to what I can pay for in tests etc... We are actually on food stamps full time now because of it. I have pretty much given up on doctors because of the surgeries leaving me so tired even a year later and not doing much pain wise. I think the cuts spread it around more then get rid of it since I don't have a specialist who is adept at excision. I don't regret the hyster but i sure get tired of doctors and pain and drugs and all the nonsense in between.

so Got the vitamin D blood work back and it went up so I don't have an absorption problem which is one of the things they were watching. I think that's good news since It means the bowels may not be involved (therefore a gastroenterologist is not going to help). It unfortunately leaves me one step closer to more surgery if we cant' figure out what's going on. I also got an Ultrasound scheduled but its not until sept. 16. I was on prevacid for awhile after failing on prilosec. It wasn't helping the belly pain but I have now been off it a while and the bowel issues are back and awful. The prevacid meant constipation and constant laxatives to keep my bowels working and now that I'm off it, I'm back to running to the bathroom after I eat. what's really weird and I keep trying to look at all the Diet threads, is that any green veggies, go immediately through my system. (as in look out within ten minutes of eating) its super embarrassing at a dinner with friends when i have to run out every few minutes to the toilet. So I don't know if maybe I should go back to the prevacid and laxatives or lose some weight with the "endo" diet that sends me to the bathroom so often. hmm... ?

so very frustrated right now from the constant pain in my belly. Sharp achy annoying swollen belly with stabbing shooting pain. I'm geting an appointment to check for a possible hernia and we are looking into other ways of checking for Endo in the upper abdomen so i can avoid another surgery looking for it. The good news though is the hospital two hours away just got Robotics surgery. So cool! If I have to go in maybe I can find a doctor who would be willing to do that and is good enough to excise the endo. So here is the question, a friend of mine said there is a new way to diagnose endo. Some kind of MRI with contrast? I havne't been able to get ahold of her yet. Does anybody have a clue what it could be??? ITs a brand new thing so its hard to research. Its for the upper abdominal endo specifically.

HAPPY HYSTERVERSARY TO ME!!!!!!!!! Its one year since my hysterectomy. I have had so many changes and I'm starting a new chapter in life. Its not pain free but at least its blood free and that's a pretty big bonus.

My results are in for my ultrasound, instead of just telling me what they saw they made me schedule an appointment. At first they were going to make me wait three weeks for it but they got me in tommorow when I called the nurse she got me right in, which is a good thing but I have to admit I'm a little nervous by what they may have seen?

ugh, very unsastisfying appoinment today that I had to pay for... I got a call this morning that my doctor was out of town (death in the family) so I had to see the other doctor. I assumed that since they made me come in that I had something on the U/S that was needed to be seen. All the report said is that the bile duct was dialated and was not normal. The doctor wouldn't get me the CT, wouldn't refill my stomach meds, wouldn't do anything. I wish they would have just freakin' called me and said "we found this, it means this". INSTEAD... I spent two hours and a half hours in the doctors office for nothing. Really? Last appointment was an hour and half late, this one was forty miinutes late, but was to be expected since they were running without all their doctors. Just stupid thought that they didn't give me that info over the phone. they have always just left messages, or talked to me. I'm getting to that point again where I say "that's nice, you don't know what it is so forget it, I'll deal with it" and hope like H*ll that its not something more serious.
