Hi Ladies,
I have a question regarding endo pain during pregnancy. I was diagnosed via lap in 2005 with adhesion on left ovary and uterus, implants on pouch of douglas.
I am newly pregnant and have been having pinching pain in my left groin area when I sit. Along with a shooting pain down the top of my left.
Has anyone else experienced endo pain during early pregnancy?
Thanks!

Howdy. I'm newly pregnant, too. It's most likely the ligaments stretching (per my doctor and doctors of 3 of my friends). Congrats.

I just found out today that I am 4 weeks preggy with our first child. I have been having abdominal pain as though I will be starting my period. Have any of you experinced cramping like this? Is this what ouchy was considering ligamant stretching? I also get a tight painful feeling in my ovary area when I sneeze or caugh, this is my first pregnancy so I have to admit I have no idea about anything and probably sound stupid with these questions. Sorry!

Yayyy, tiff! LOL. Sure is springtime! Everyone is pregnant! Yup!!! You've got it, tiff. At first, I had implantation cramping, but now it's ligament stretching. Sometimes it feels like a dull-achy "period-is-gonna'-come-on" type cramp, but sometimes it feels like endo-type, stabbing pain (near the ovary region). The thing is, everything is soooo tight and compact down there, that it's really just one region. My doc. said that even women w/out endo describe endo-like stabs and pains due to ligament stretching. He's been an OBGYN for 28 years, so he's probably right. Also, three of my other friends (who do NOT have endo) have described the same pain to me, and all of their docs. said that it was ligaments stretching, too. Congrats on your bub!

Thank you so much for the quick response ouchy. I am very nervous right now about every symptom because last week during a pregesterone test the levels were low, I was told if they stay this way miscariage was a possibility! I have my fingers crossed
Even though I know I am officially pregnant, I still feel like I will be starting any day!

Sorry I did not reply sooner denna and ouchy! Denna yes I was talking clomid, this March was my first month trying it and well now I am preggy!! We were trying for almost a year before trying clomid so I was shocked to see possitive results.
Ouchy yes I am taking 200mg of prometrium which is a progesterone capsule. I have to take it vaginally every morning and night! My hormones were low for the progesterone test on day 21 of my cycle but when they did a blood test after the positive at home pregnancy test the levels were good for how early I tested! So I do have high hopes even though it is too soon to be sure.

Yayyy! Yah. I was out of the U.S. when I got my + preg. test, so I wound up not having my hormone levels checked until a couple weeks after conception. I just got lucky, I guess. I normally have luteal phase defect from low progesterone. I brought a tube of progesterone cream w/ me just in case! I wonder what my level would have been if I would have had it tested the day I got my + home test. I got my + less than a week past ovulation. Anway, SO glad they have you sorted out! Will be fun to have a preg. partner! When is your first ultrasound?

I have my first appt. on April 18th and they will be doing an unltrasound then! I will be seeing if there are more than one, since there is that possibility with fertility drugs. I tested the day before my missed period which is when I saw the possitive! Had blood work the same day. I still don't feel pregnant and still having light cramp in lower abdomen. I know this is stupid but I feel like I shoud be carrying tampons around with me just in case I start. The only symptoms I have has feel like menstrual symptoms only not nearly as severe. That and I have been cravign pickle juice, not pickles, but the actual juice! Yes! yes! it will be great to have a preg. partner! Since you are a little ahead of me you can ket me in on what happpens next!

LOL. Okay. Then get ready for more cramping! I was down on the floor with cramps for sure I was miscarrying, but when I woke up the next morning...no blood, no cramps! It's just the stupid ligaments! My doc. reassured me again not to worry, that pretty much all women get these, even those w/out endo. One of my friends w/out endo said that she was knocked upside a wall to brace herself w/ ligament stretching pains w/ her baby. I guess it makes sense when you realize how quickly the uterus grows with the fluid and all. I've been craving sweet things (which is not good since I'm insulin resistant!). I've been trying to eat healthier, but I have no appetite. Pickles. Humm. I love pickle juice (when I have an appetite). I used to use pickle juice as a salad dressing...weird, huh! I craved pickles around week 3-4. It was great, though. I was in another country, and there were pickles everywhere! LOL. You'd go to a little corner stand, and they'd have all these veggies you could add to your order..and a HUGE tub of pickles! I ate tons!

I am glad to hear that, not glad you were in pain but glad to know it is normal. Well I am now 4 weeks and 3 days so still just starting out! I have a bad sweet tooth and am glad that has not jumped into overdrive. Do you have a feeling of being full? The last week or so I have felt as though I just ate a huge holiday meal and my stomach is poochy but have gained no wait. I felt as though I could not hold my stomach in like I normally do. I think it is the vinegar sour taste I have been craving! I have also been drinking the juice form pickled peppers ( I think that is what they are) which are spicy and make my stomach turn but I can't get enough.

I've had that "bloated" feeling a couple times. I will be 10 weeks tomorrow, but I haven't gained any weight (Actually, I've lost a couple lb's.). I'm just starting to see a little shape to my lower abdomen (right above the hairline), where I'm guessing my uterus is ballooning a little... I do feel like I've eaten too much of something! Since I feel nauseaus, I will compare it to when I was in 2nd grade and we had a contest for who could read the most books, and the winner received coupons for free pizzas. Well, I read a TON of books, and I gathered my coupons and redeemed them for a couple pizzas. I was SO sick afterwards! LOL! That's what I feel like now (minus the actual vomit). I wish I felt like I ate something healthy like Thanksgiving dinner! This poor kid in my tummy! Thank goodness they live off of yolk for a while!

I'm 5 weeks today! I also have occassional "stabbing" pains on my left and right sides, in the ovary-area. They worry me a bit, but I try not to think about it too much (I keep freaking myself out that I've got an ectopic pregnancy or something). My stomach is starting to feel full, like it's pooching out a little bit. No tight pants for me! And DEFINITELY no laying on my stomach! - That hurts my chest and stomach WAY too much! It feels like I just ate a HUGE dinner and am trying to rest my weight on my stomach! It's kinda weird, I'm super thirsty, but not really all that hungry. Or, to put it better, I get hungry, but don't really feel like eating (nothing really sounds good). And when I drank a Sprite yesterday, which I normally like, it tasted kinda like Alka-Seltzer to me Bleh! And I had a sandwich for lunch yesterday that had a very little bit of mayo on it, which I also normally really like, it tasted like I was drinking cooking oil. The only foods that really sound at all appealing are fresh fruits and veggies (raw, no dressings...). I guess that at least at this point, I'm leaning more toward food aversions than cravings.
