Avent Isis hand/manual pump. I only plan on pumping maybe once a month since I'll be doing on-demand feeding, so I figure the manual pump will be fine. The pump seems like it is going to be great, but the "let-down massager" is too tiny! I e-mailed the company to see if they had something with a larger diameter for the nipple feed. I actually thought I had average size nipples. I think I need one size up. This is somethign I'll have to research. I hope I don't have to return it! Oh. And I spent almost $7.00 on shipping 3 glass baby bottles--and the store had them tonight!!!!!! grrrr!

^Actually, I think it is going to work with the standard size. I tried it again, and I think I just had it mispositioned. It seemed to be fine and my nipples didn't get stuck. LOL! I guess it is a learning thing.

Ohh is the IQ the new electric pump they make? I saw that and if I have another baby I am so getting that one. I had to pump three times a day since I worked full-time so I had an electric (the pump in style) but I saw that new Avent electric pump and fell in love with it!

My friend loves her Medela pump. It's a double electric. Thing was like 300 some dollars, though!

Actually, I don't like the idea of heating the plastic to sterilize it. Maybe I should go with something like this?

Ok that looks like something you'd use to turn lights on with back in 1912. ha ha. Sometimes I dread being a girl. Other times I can't wait to have a baby. Good luck Ouchy. you'll have to let us know how it goes.

Eeeew, it looks sore! It also looks like those honker things we used to play with when we were little! Oh the joys of being a mother!

LOL! They may actually be more comfortable being glass rather than plastic. I wonder if I should bid on them. They're on eBay and new. LOL!

So I take it you just "honk" them and you fill them up? Or is there a tube or something that attaches to a bottle? I'm going to need so much help when I get pregnant. ha ha.

^Yes, rather like the "Honkers" from Sesame Street way back. LOL! I think you just pour it from the glass into the bottle.

I loved Sesame Street, I think that is where I remember the honkers from! Does anyone here remember Fraggle Rock? Similar kind of characters to Sesame Street but a bit more scary! The kids tv writers must have been taking too many "herbal rememdies" at that time to think up some of that stuff!
