Awwww She woke up at 3:30 in the co-sleeper and screamed bloody murder. Poor thing. She woke up with her head at the foot of the thing wedged in the corner. I brought her into bed after that, and she used me as a human pacifier for an entire hour! This was DEFINITELY emotional comfort nursing! It's like 4:45 A.M. I had to get up for a break/water/something to eat since she finally fell back asleep (in the bed). I also think she's scared of the dark.

Someone realized she can now stand/pull up to things. SOOOOO, the co-sleeper is now playpen-style, and I have to order extension legs and build up the mattress with foam so she doesn't think she's in a dungeon!

UGH! I have a so-typical non-attachment parenting neighbor, with whom baby and I go for walks since I dont' like to walk alone. She is DISGUSTED by the fact that I nurse baby ouchy. It's like the though of nourishing your baby how nature intended is the worst thing in the world that could happen in her mind! (Her baby is 3 weeks older than baby ouchy and is obviously, formula fed.) Anyway, she asked if baby ouchy is still sleeping with me. I told her that yes, since baby ouchy is still nursing at night, she continues to sleep with us. She retorted, "OHHH. I wasnt going to 'ruin' my baby like that! She slept by herself since day 1. I let her cry and feed her on schedule." My heart just sank knowing her tiny little baby in the hospital wanted to eat and was crying and was just shoved into the big plastic aquarium. Awwwww. From womb to coldness.
