That's super cool to see! It looks like your cycles are getting more consistent in length, and shorter than before? And your temp swings are less each month. Is the longer cycle in January when you weren't able to see your acupuncturist for a while? I'm so proud of your ovaries for working better! Now if only your pain would subside... I still think temping is one of the most fascinating things we can do to learn about our bodies and hormonal issues. I'm still surprised that most women either don't know about this or don't care to know, particularly those that are trying to determine their fertility! Props to you for taking the few seconds a day it takes to temp, and actually SEEING how your treatment is progressing!

Thanks for being proud of my ovaries! Poor little things, they don't often get much praise... . But yep, you're right--my cycles now are generally 28 - 29 days (though that whole colonoscopy nightmare has thrown me off this month); before they were 35 - 55 days or something crazy like that. And the longer cycle in January was when I missed a month at the acupuncturist. I'm getting more hopeful about teh pain. I've had a really bad last 4 days, but I'm pre-period. However, before that, I had about 6 days between ovulation and pre-period pain that were much better. And, I only had about 4 days of really bad ovulation pain and the rest of the days were easier. So, it's something to hold onto and hope with! BUt yes I do find this fascinating. Thanks to you all for inspiring me to try this!

You're on FF, right? I was on a 2 year free premium account on TCOYF's web-based tool because I was one of their beta testers, but it just ran out... Which means I can only see the last three month's history. I think I'm going to sign up for a month, take print-outs of all my past charts, and go elsewhere. I like that you can make a ribbon like that - super cool! And, yes, your ovaries deserve a bit of praise every now and again! I'm glad they appear to be cooperating with you a bit more these days. That has to be a good feeling, and I'll cross my fingers that it lasts AND improves!

Yes, I use FF. It's a bit clumsily organized but has some fun things to play around with.
It sucks to lose all that online access to your temp history though.

I know... I could sign up for a year and it's not that pricey, but I have a hard time doing that when there are other free ones out there. I think the reason why I didn't go with FF to begin with because it did seem kind of clunky and I found the free offer at TCOYF. Perhaps if I have some time within the next few weeks, I'll look into it. It'd be sweet if I could input my old charts!

Ha ha, I almost cried when I saw that! I haven't ovulated for at least a year and a half, if not more. I wasn't sure if I would. I sure hope this isn't a fluke!

Awesome! I don't want to jinx it by hoping for a normalish luteal phase (but I'm rooting for it!!). Total side note, I had a weird dream that my temps were out of whack, is it bad to be dreaming of temping!?

Ha ha, you're dreaming about it? That's hilarious! I'm hoping for a somewhat normal LP, too, but I don't suspect I'll get it. My right ankle and hip are popping today, which is a sure sign that my period is near. But, hey, I'll take however long of a LP as I can get!!

Is it still high, Karen? Crossing fingers. I've wanted to post this link in this thread for awhile www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2147155 - Article about endometriosis linked to elevated temps at the start of the follicular phase. Anyone read this before or see it in their temps? I do. I hang around 98.2-98.4 for about 4 days.

That is crazy! I'm not sure if it's true for me since my cycles are so off, but I'll check it out this month. Goes to show how much temping can really tell you about what's going on!
I wonder why? Higher temps = progesterone. It's the drop in progesterone that triggers a period and lowers the temps, so a higher temp the first few days of follicular phase would suggest progesterone levels wouldn't drop as much.

Interesting. I have lots of bleeding before my period starts--generally for about a week. It's not consistent (stops and starts) and starts either after I've been bumped (sometimes even someone bumping into me in the hall at work is enough to start teh bleeding), after having a bm, after hitting a pot hole on my bike...etc. I wonder if the higher temperatures are accommodating all this "extra" bleeding rather than an actual period?
