Since we can't be perfect on the endo diet every day, let's use this as a place to remind us of how we feel when we cheat...
I got take-out last night. It came with a bun. I had it in my hand, ready to throw it in the garbage, it was so warm and soft that I smothered it in butter and ate it. I haven't had bread since November or December? It. Was. Delicious. The bloating and aches that followed, though, was not. Bleh. I felt like a tubbalard!

On Friday I drank port, far too much, and then had two pieces of toast because I was a bit drunk. The pain that followed was ridiculous, along with constipation. Wheat is the one thing I shout never cheat with!!!!

Mine was bagels... I just craved them for some reason. And if that wasn't bad enough last night at work they had cherry turnovers and I KNOW they aren't on the diet. I have been fighting horrible pain and bloating from my deviations!

LOL this thread is great! We're gonna have a good time with this one.
I have been pretty good on the diet lately. I did, however, have whole grain spaghetti noodles a few days ago and my stomach blew up huge. I didn't think I had a wheat problem at all until I gave it up for a while then tried it again. I just can't believe it!

LOVE that expression! I ate cream cakes and cream scones all last week out of pure 'I don't give a toss' and I now have a jelly belly, bloating and my skin has broken out and I forget what else. I can eat a lot of the things I like because I'm so intent on what my stomach tells me so I know what my moderation is but I'm acutely aware that I'm lucky to be eating these things. But yeah a whole week of eating like a cheshire cat has taught me a lesson. Stop being a pig. I normally eat from what I feel is necessity.

OMG cherry you reminded me!! Yesterday my husband and I found this British Tea Room called Cafe Anglais! It's run by a guy from England (can't remember where exactly) but it was apparently very traditional. We had PG tips tea with some sort of finger cookies and scones and even a sponge cake in some sort of cream stuff. It was great! I totally thought of you guys when we were there. We loved the place so much! But all that sugar and carbs just killed me. I spent the rest of the day in bed completely stuck in brain fog and fatigue. My body does not react well to sugar at all.

Yeah those finger cookies sound like either rich tea (flat and kinda dry but smooth) or could be shortbread? If you dare go back, ask for a Devonshire cream tea, or it may just be listed as a cream tea. I like Tetley tea myself, or Lancashire tea (it was formulated for our type of water!) It sounds a lovely place though

I have been trying to stick to the diet for a couple weeks now. Yesterday I had spaghetti with bits of sausage in it and some rosemary garlic toast. It was so delicious but my stomach feels like a Rubix Cube, tossing, turning, sliding and so LOUD.

Lancashire!!! That's where the owner is from!
Oh the tea room was super lovely! It was lightly colored, no TVs, no music, just your company over some tea. It was awesome! Everything was served on nice china. There were other meals he served too aside from all the pastries we ordered.

I cheated last night and had a milkshake and a burger with no bun. A couple hours later I was in agony on my bed with the heating pad. Ugh my body hates that stuff. I won't be doing that again. It was the worst I've felt from cheating. Awful.

I've been eating a lot of crap the last couple days, and feeling twinges and pains here and there next to my ovaries. Yikes!

I'm trying to be really good now as I have fallen off the wagon. My tum and bowel are a lot worse than they were say, at Christmas, even when I'm really good I still get pain after eating anything - good or bad!! But today I had one piece of mint Aero and immediately I had shooting pains in my stomach and left side. I vow to be good from now on, nothing is worth that.
Although I will be ordering some 'free from' choc for when I really need something as I know I'll just reach for the cr4p stuff!!

I ate a small hot fudge sundae today. When I cheat I'm always expecting the food or dessert to taste so good and what I'm discovering is not only does it not taste that great, but it makes me feel like poop.

I ate a giant amount of Peanut Butter Puffins cereal. then I got a giant tummyache, then I read the box, and the cereal is not CORN, it's CORN AND OATS!!! oats are awful (for me!) and I'm super pissed! I guess I've just never eaten more than a couple of those at a time before and didn't notice! yeesh! pissed off at cereal lol
