What song encapsulates your experience/journey with endo?
Mine is Sugarland's "Stand Back Up." It's an absolutely amazing song. Reminds me of my experience with endo and my health. Everytime I'm down about how I'm feeling, I turn it on and sing it at the top of my lungs. Most times it makes me weepy, but man, if there was ever a song to describe endo, I think this is it...

Haven't heard that one... Can you post a link/video?
I'm a huge music buff but will have to think on this one - want to make sure I get the right one!! Maybe a little Aretha Franklin "I will survive"? Or maybe something else...
Good post!

Bittersweet symphony, by the verve pipe.
I want that song played at my funeral. It pretty much incapsulates my entire life.

J Richard Ashcroft is a genius huh! The Drugs Don't Work by The Verve has been my inner theme tune at my lowest points, and yesterday I scraped the barrel of giving a sh*t so I listened to it and cried a minute. For no good reason I might add. But other days when I'm not feeling overwhelmed then it's Lost by Coldplay, the simple piano led version. It's like 'ok I'm not quite there right now but I'm gonna find a way'. I literally never listened to it but my 2 friends played a gig and sang that and the words hit home I teared up. I feel sometimes judged for not being as healthy as I want or complaining as much as I should but it's my battle and I'm doing what I can.

Here's one from a guy's perspective... Rob Thomas wrote this about his wife's experience with an autoimmune disorder. I never really like the song but knowing the back story, well, I can imagine a lot of husbands/boyfriends/partners/friends have had similar experiences.

This is a really good thread! I'm going to have to think though about this one - also switch computers so I can listen to everyone's songs!

;D Since somehow its always my fault... I love the song Little Lion Man by Mumford and sons. My hubby and I both have a thing for Irish/folk songs but that one is awesome.
Seriously though my favorite song is by a group called Downhere. It gives me hope for all my screw ups and that if I just keep trying, somehow its going to work out for the best
